We built an open database access (ODA) interface from Universe and Unidata databases to Business Intelligent Reporting Tool (BIRT). BIRT allows you to run reports, for example, in formats like PDF, DOCX, DOC, XLSX, and XLS. Our XLr8Reporter has an interface within Eclipse IDE that allows you to test your UniQuery's or UniBasic subroutines. After debugging those routines in Eclipse IDE, you can deploy those BIRT report forms to the web using our U2WebLink middle-ware. Then your users can run those reports from the web using Apache Tomcat server.
